How to choose: wear it, display it, or play it

To wear it, the “Demogorgon Live” T-shirts and zip-up pick up the monster as a rock poster, red and yellow on black, in unisex cuts; kids' versions exist in 100 to 150 cm. To display it, three buildable figures go together brick by brick: the large two-in-one model with its detachable flower, the Demogorgon alone, and the four-legged demodog, with dimensions taken from the sellers' diagrams. To play it, two full suits (pink or gray, from 100 to 190) and a pajama onesie with a petal hood, in adult and kids' sizes.

Small formats complete the picture: number candles from 0 to 9 for a birthday cake, “adopt me” pins, desk mini figures, a chibi keychain lot where the creature sits next to the Hawkins party. A good rule: the big fan collects the figures, the teen wants the T-shirt, and the family celebrating Halloween goes for the suit.

The monster that tipped Hawkins

The Demogorgon appears from season one, in November 1983, when Will Byers vanishes on the road home. The boys give it the name of a Dungeons & Dragons creature before they've even seen it: a faceless head that opens in petals, a humanoid body, a way of walking through walls and hunting by the smell of blood. It's the one that takes Barb, the one Eleven faces in the middle-school science class. Its cousins come later: the demodogs, the juvenile pack stage of season two, then other entities from the Upside Down. But for fans, the Demogorgon stays the original monster, the one of Christmas lights coming on and bikes left at the side of the road.

Is the monster shown in a scary way?

It is stylized like a concert poster: silhouette, open petals, red on black. Nothing gore, which lets the kids' models stay playground-level.

What is the difference between the Demogorgon and the demodog in the collection?

The demodog is the juvenile form, four-legged, the one Dustin raises in secret; it has its own buildable figure and its “adopt me” pin. The adult Demogorgon is on posters, hoodies, figures, and suits.

Does a monster figure need assembly?

The build models, yes: several hundred pieces and an evening of assembly, with measurements taken from the sellers' diagrams. Mini figures are used as they are.

Do the visuals come from the show?

No, they are fan drawings. No logo or image from the show is reproduced, and the shop is affiliated neither with the network nor with the rights holders.

Shipping and returns for a Demogorgon item?

Preparation within 2 business days, then 7-12 business days in total, tracking sent by email. Returns within 14 days of receipt, unused item in its original packaging, costs at your expense, via contact@strangerthings-shop.fr.

The rest of the Hawkins bestiary

More than two hundred items for a single creature says enough about the place it holds in the show. What comes next sits right behind the gate: the Upside Down shows the set it hunts in, and Vecna takes over as head predator three seasons later. Dustin Henderson, for his part, raised a miniature version fed on nougat, and the Hawkins section brings the whole town together, wildlife included.

Three reads before you make up your mind: our explanation of the season 1 monster puts the Demogorgon back in its exact place in the story, the feature on Dart and the demodogs teaches you what to call the little critter printed on your T-shirt, and the show's complete bestiary lines up the creatures from the Demogorgon to Vecna.
