What is Geeked Week
Launched in June 2021, Geeked Week is a week of online announcements: trailers, first images, panels with the teams of the platform's genre series and films, streamed live on its channels, then cut into videos. It took the place of the big conventions for announcements, and the show, its biggest franchise, had its moment every time, sometimes as the closer.
The format evolved: a week of videos in 2021 and 2022, a live event since, with an audience and a stage.

What she revealed about the show
| Edition | What was shown |
|---|---|
| 2021 | Behind-the-scenes images from season 4, filming, and episode titles |
| 2022 | Excerpts from season 4 volume 2, a few weeks before its release |
| 2023 | The title of the last season's first episode, “The Crawl,” and prep images |
| 2024 | A visit to the Atlanta set with Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo, and the recap of the season: fall 1987, the quarantine, the hunt for Eleven |
| 2025 | "Geeked Week Unlocked: Stranger Things," a special devoted to the show before volume 1 |
The most commented revelation remains the 2023 one: the title of the first episode of the last season, “The Crawl,” unveiled more than two years before its release, which launched two years of theories about what the group was going to crawl through.
The panels
The heart of the event for fans is the panels: the cast together on stage, the Duffers answering questions, shoot anecdotes and, sometimes, a scene shown exclusively. The show's panels have drawn the largest audiences of the event, and are picked up in fifteen- to thirty-minute videos after the broadcast.
What Geeked Week does not doIt does not announce release dates: those of the last season were revealed separately, on May 31, 2025, with a dedicated video. Geeked Week shows; it does not schedule.
How to follow it
Live, on the platform's video channels and socials, at American times, often in the evening in France; then on replay, video by video, the next day. The show's accounts publish their clips separately, and fans break them down on the forums within the hour. The date is announced a few weeks before, generally at the end of summer or in the fall.
And after the ending of the show
Now that the show is over, Geeked Week remains the place for announcements about the universe: the animated series "Tales From 1985," released on April 23, 2026, showed its first images there, and that is where a possible live-action spin-off would be announced, if there were to be one.

The other dates where the show reveals itself
| Appointment | When | What he gave the show |
|---|---|---|
| Stranger Things Day | Every November 6, since 2018 | The title of Season 5's first chapter in 2022, the title reveal in 2024, the premiere in 2025 |
| The platform's annual event | Late May or June | Linda Hamilton's announcement in June 2023, the Season 5 release dates on May 31, 2025 |
| Geeked Week | One week a year, since 2021 | Panels, behind-the-scenes images, titles and clips |
| The Super Bowl | February | The Season 2 teaser in 2017 |
| The Comic Con Experience of São Paulo | December | The Season 3 episode titles in 2018 |
The show has always had a tight calendar of revelations, where each appointment brings a piece: a title, an image, a date. Geeked Week is one; November 6 is the most important.
How the show has always communicated
Since season 2, the creators reveal episode titles months in advance, “to give an idea of the direction without spoiling anything,” even if they change some later. They publish posters by teaser, one per narrative thread for season 4, opening excerpts, eight minutes in May 2022 and five minutes in November 2025, and let the actors film behind the scenes. Ross Duffer himself announces, on his socials, when a chapter is “locked, mixed, scored, color-timed.”
That controlled transparency is what Geeked Week stages once a year: fans know they will get something, never what. For the last season, the essential revelations went through November 6 and the May event, Geeked Week serving as a reminder.
What Geeked Week shows now
Since the ending of the show, the universe keeps appearing there through its extensions: the animated series Tales From 1985, released in April 2026 and whose second season arrives in September, the live-action spin-off series, announced with no date, and the Duffers' projects through their company Upside Down Pictures. The actors, for their part, now come there for other series and films.
For a fan, following the event remains useful for two reasons: the first images of the animated projects, and the reruns of panels where the Duffers comment on the ending. But the surest date remains November 6.
